About our In-Person Section Gathering

Our Section Gatherings are opportunities for Friends from across Asia West Pacific – from Bhopal to Bohol, from Seoul to Sydney, from Manila to Melbourne – to meet together, learn together, and transact broad issues of common interest and concern. We will share stories of our lives as Friends, worship together, consider issues of common concern,  learn about each other, learn more about Friends’ ways, including meeting for business in the manner of Friends.

We hope you can meet Friends like you – and Friends very different to you – as we converge

on Seoul, Korea, for several days in October.

And also if you are 18-35 years, consider coming to the Young Adult Friends meetup the night and day before the Joint Excursion and Section Gathering

 

How to apply for the Seoul Section Gathering

  1. We encourage you to register today (or at least very soon). This will help us with numbers and is important if you need to apply for a subsidy. https://forms.gle/26BVyWxNRyfQNoN58

  2. at the same time apply for an official letter of support from your Friends’ Church or Yearly Meeting (signed by your Clerk or similar)

AND

  1. start applying for a visa,  or understand what entry requirements you will need to supply the consulate
  2. if you need a visa, you can request a signed official invitation from FWCC AWPS if you need it through Executive Secretary Adrian Glamorgan.
