General Secretary of Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC)

Connecting Friends Around the World – The Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC) has opened a global search for its next General Secretary. Are you ready to provide both spiritual and administrative leadership to this small and thriving international Quaker organization? Friends from any country in the world are invited to bring your vision for the future of Friends together with your technological and cultural competencies. You will be directly involved in shaping the World Plenary Meeting in Durban, South Africa in 2023 and supporting the work of the Quaker United Office (QUNO). This is an exciting and rare opening for members of the Religious Society of Friends to travel widely among Friends and on the ecumenical world stage.

FWCC provides the connective tissue for the world body of Quakers through events, publications and global consultations. You will join a growing network of both spiritual and practical relationships, gathering the Quaker voice which can speak to the world. You will serve with a dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers in the World Office and in the four FWCC Section offices in Kenya, Australia, USA, and UK, nurturing faith, hope, and resilience among Friends. Is God calling you to this work?
